Inclement Weather Closing Information for Christian Life Academy of Early Learning

“What to do when it snows or we experience other weather emergencies?”

Morning Closure:

If we have bad weather and have to close school for the day, the decision will be made by 5:30 a.m. so that the TV stations can be notified. We will have closure information listed on ABC/NBC & CBS. We will also leave a message on the school answering service so that you can call the school to verify. As a general rule, when Bensalem School’s are closed, Christian Life Academy is closed. However, sometimes we may differ according to information received from our maintenance crew here at Christian Life Academy.

Early Dismissal:

If we have bad weather move into our area where an early dismissal would be called, the school will, through our school staff inform the parents of our early dismissal. If your child is transported by school bus we will notify you if you will need to pick up OR transportation will still be provided by the bus.

Delayed Opening of School:

Weather conditions may be such that delaying the opening of school by one or two hours may be necessary. Notification of a delayed opening will be communicated in the same manner as a school closing. When we call a one or two hour delay, this means that the time of opening is one or two hours after 7:00 a.m. It does not affect the Preschool or Kindergarten start time, it will begin at 9:00 a.m. It only delays the before care hours between (7 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.).
